Fred L. Steele, 91, passed away on August 28, 2010 at his home in Fallbrook. He was born August 1, 1919.

Fred earned an associate degree in engineering/drafting and worked as an engineer. His hobbies included woodworking, model trains, photography, and aviation.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth B. Steele.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, at 11 a.m. at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary, 333 N. Vine St.

Fred was a wonderful man and he will be missed greatly. He and his wife were patients in our office, and we always looked forward to visiting with them. Fred was a true gentleman, and I will always remember his great sense of humor. We love you Fred. Love, Maureen
