Time to name that Christmas parade theme

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Issue 35, Volume 14.

FALLBROOK - Fallbrook’s 29th Annual Christmas Parade will march down Main Street on Saturday, December 4, 2010, and parade organizers are looking for a fresh theme for this year’s holiday event.

Last year, Ed Warr was the winner of the theme contest. While riding on the Grangetto’s entry float, he enjoyed having the Theme Winner banner carried in front of the float, proclaiming his entry to be the parade committee’s favorite - "Fallbrook’s Christmas Spirit."

The winning theme has been, and will be again, the basis for all parade publicity. This year, the winner will once again be promenading down Main Street in a convertible Advertisement

provided by the committee (or riding on their own float, as Mr. Warr did), waving to envious friends and neighbors.

So sharpen those pencils and get the creative juices flowing. The theme will need to be Christmas-oriented, of course, and will be chosen by the Chamber’s Christmas Parade Committee, chaired by Roy Costello. The winning theme will be chosen in the next few weeks, and will be used throughout our upcoming holiday season in connection with the parade.

E-mail theme ideas to info@fallbrookchamberofcommerce.org. Early birds can also pick up parade entry applications now at the Chamber office. For more information, call (760) 728-5845.

Considering the present state of Fallbrook, Feliz Navidad would be appropriate.
