"It is a distinct honor to have Mr. Breeding as our District Governor," Village Rotary Past President Steve Achard said. Breeding has been a Rotarian since 1998, when he joined the Fallbrook club. He took an immediate interest in Rotary and its international works when he saw a bumper sticker on the Advertisement Breeding has a personal interest in eliminating polio, as his mother is a polio survivor. His address to the club was about the eradication of polio and the ways in which Rotary funds the eradication. Rotary has taken on the mission of polio eradication worldwide almost single handedly for a number of years. Rotary has now partnered with the Gates Foundation on a matching grant basis to eradicate polio.
