Hot Summer Nites continues with downtown block party

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook’s Connections business group continues their Hot Summer Nites Series with a giant block party for the whole family in downtown Fallbrook on July 9 from 5 p.m. to sundown.

The theme for the event is "Rods & Relics" and will feature a collection of Hot Rods and older model cars. The vehicles will be parked along Main Avenue for viewing, and awards will be presented in various categories.

Participants can also enjoy shopping, food and live music in the Village Square by "Big Rye & the Mercenaries." Advertisement

Palm & Stone Brewing Cos. will be offer beer, and Bill and Shirley Oakley will be pouring wine from "Mad Housewife Cellars." Many merchants and restaurants will be extending their business hours for the evening crowd.

Main Avenue will be closed to traffic from Fig to Ivy Streets for the event starting at 4:30 p.m. Parking is available behind the Art & Cultural Center and on side streets. Admission is free. No pets are allowed.
