Winner announced in Bonsallpalooza art contest

BONSALL – The Bonsall Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that grants funds for programs in support of academic excellence in the Bonsall Union School District (BUSD), is delighted to announce that Bonsall West Elementary School fourth grade student Max Ferrer is the winner of the Bonsallpalooza 2010 art contest.

Max’s winning drawing is featured on tee-shirts, advertising and posters promoting the Foundation’s second annual benefit concert entitled Bonsallpalooza. The Bonsallpalooza art contest judging panel was comprised of professional local artists Caroline Taylor, Andrew Marlor and Kristin Lewis.

during a school assembly at his school where Foundation president Erica Perko and school principal Eric Kosch presented him with a personalized Bonsallpalooza 2010 tee-shirt, a framed copy of the advertisement, an art kit and two tickets for his parents to attend the benefit concert at Pala Casino, Spa & Resort on June 5.

Tickets to the Bonsallpalooza 2010 event can be purchased at www.startickets.com, the Pala box office or on Sundays at the Bonsall Certified Farmers’ Market 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Bonsall River Village Shopping Center.
