FALLBROOK – As a veteran professional artist whose career spans over 60 years, Frank Webb’s impact within the watercolor community is celebrated and respected all over the world. Webb is a vice President and Dolphin Fellow of the America Watercolor Society and member of the National Watercolor Society. He has represented the American Watercolor Society in international exhibitions in Canada, Europe, South America, China and Australia and is listed in "Who’s Who in American Art" and "Who’s Who in the East." In 2006, American Artist Magazine named Webb among the 20 Great Teachers. Webb will be conducting a five-day workshop at Fallbrook School of the Arts Feb. 8 -12, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Workshop participants and a guest will also be invited to the Frank Webb lecture and demonstration that is open to the public on Sunday, February 7, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. For more information or to register for the Frank Webb workshop or lecture and demonstration, visit www.fallbrookschoolofthearts.org or call (760) 728-6383. The Fallbrook Art Center (FAC) will host its Advertisement The World of Watercolor dual exhibition features 59 paintings from some of the finest water media artists working today. The Signature American Watercolor Exhibition is only open to artists who have achieved Signature Member status in one or more established Watercolor Associations in the U.S. The show continues daily through March 28, 2010.
