Free diabetes classes on Jan. 19 and Feb. 16

FALLBROOK – Free diabetes classes will be offered on Tuesday, January 19 and Tuesday, February 16, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 am in Spanish and noon to 1:30 p.m. in English.

Individuals newly diagnosed with diabetes or those wanting a refresher are invited to attend along with a family member. Certified diabetes educators Janine Loescher, RD, CDE, CLE and Lisa Carter, RN, CDE will be the instructors. The class will be held in the education department classroom at Fallbrook Hospital, located in the Wellness Center building on the second floor.

Topics include food, medications, monitoring blood sugars, activity, complications and more. Attendees may come to one or both classes. If you have any questions, please call Fallbrook Hospital Education Department at (760) 731-8246.
