Comedian Anjelah Johnson to appear at Pala Casino

PALA – Comedian Anjelah Johnson, whose portrayal of "Tammy the Nail Salon Lady" is a wildly popular international video hit on YouTube, will bring her stand-up show to Pala Casino Spa & Resort on Saturday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Cabaret.

Johnson was a series regular on MADtv, which spawned her second Web mega-hit, the fierce and fiery "Bon Qui Qui." She also is co-starring in the upcoming film releases, "Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel," "Marmaduke" and "Our Family Wedding" with America Ferrera and Forest Whitaker. See this gal!
A triumphant combination of hilarity, beauty, and guts - not necessarily in that order.
I only discovered her on a trip to Chicago in December,2009, when my host's 16 year-old daughter asks me, "Have you seen 'The Nail Salon'?" and then played it on YouTube.
I'm 62 and Anjelah has just come into my life. I'll be at Pala.
