NORTH COUNTY – The next North County Parkinson’s Disease Support Group meeting is on Wednesday, January 13, from 10 a.m. to noon at Gloria McClellan Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace Drive in Vista.

Joanne Price, host and producer of Elder Care Talk Radio on Sundays at 2 p.m. on KCBQ am 1170, will talk about "Fall Injury Prevention Tips, Tactics and Techniques for Reducing Fall Related Injuries."

Price co-produced the fall presentation educational video "Don’t Fall For It!" in 2006, and in 2007 she co-authored a book titled "Fall Injury Prevention for Older Adults…And Those Who Care."

Price has worked for several years in the area of senior restorative exercise and balance control and brings that expertise to her audiences as well as her entertaining and interactive presentation style.
