FALLBROOK — Last spring, Fallbrook-based Youngren Construction Inc. answered the call to perform major interior improvements for a "bare bones" shell building on a taut schedule.

It pledged to create a new 36,000-square-foot office and manufacturing facility for The Garmon Corporation/NaturVet©, located in the Temecula Corporate Center at 27461 Via Industria, in a mere three months.

To keep pace with business demands, Garmon needed to expand the space of its nearby facility within 90 days.

By serving as hands-on project manager and general contractor, Youngren President Scott Youngren directed the completion of this large and ambitious project in an even shorter timeframe: 78 days.

Work commenced on April 11; the project was completed on July 23, with Garmon staff moving into the brand-new facility the following day.

Building the NaturVet facility in record time marked one of Youngren’s largest commercial projects to date, but it was not the company’s first foray into performing high-quality work on a greatly accelerated schedule.

"In 2004," Youngren recalled, "we served as general contractor for Fox TV’s ‘Renovate My Family.’ We totally remodeled a home, top to bottom, in just seven Advertisement

days. In both projects, as in every effort we undertake – from a residential kitchen remodel to a large industrial complex – we invest our time, expertise and commitment to ensure that we complete projects quickly without sacrificing quality or going over budget."

As NaturVet prepared to move the manufacturing of high-quality natural pet products to a facility more than double its prior space, Youngren performed all interior construction and exterior painting of the three buildings to house corporate offices, manufacturing and inventory/storage areas.

"The buildings began as basic shells with concrete tilt-up walls and roof," explained Youngren. "The intent was to provide NaturVet with a facility that meets its diverse needs while fitting into the ambiance of Temecula Corporate Center, the premier mixed-use park in the Temecula/Murrieta Valley."

Garmon said, "For a project that was slated to take a minimum of 90 days, I was very impressed when Scott Youngren was able to spearhead the project and finish it in 78 days."
