FALLBROOK — Youngren Construction Inc. has begun a major commercial project for The Garmon Corporation/NaturVet on a taut, 90-day schedule in the acclaimed Temecula Corporate Center.

Work commenced on April 1 to perform all interior construction and exterior painting on the new, three-building, multipurpose facility totaling 35,000 square feet and located near Interstate 15 and Winchester Road.

Youngren Construction President Scott Youngren reports that his company has performed other work for NaturVet. He notes that the current effort is of major magnitude in terms of size and scope.

Youngren states, "As a local construction company, our familiarity with the area, along with our construction know-how and great team, gives our client the confidence that we can adeptly handle the work on the rigorous, 90-day timeframe."

Youngren describes the new buildings as basic shells, with concrete tilt-up walls and roof.

In addition to painting the exterior, the Youngren team is starting from scratch to provide NaturVet with a facility that meets its diverse needs while fitting into the ambiance of Temecula Corporate Center, the premiere, master-planned, mixed-use park in the Temecula/Murrieta Valley.

The three-building facility will house NaturVet’s corporate offices, manufacturing and inventory/storage areas. Youngren explains that the manufacturing portions must meet stringent requirements for both powder and liquid production capabilities.

The Garmon Corporation manufactures NaturVet and other lines of high-quality natural pet products, offering homeopathic, natural alternatives to conventional drugs and pesticides that may cause harmful side effects in animals.

Innovative NaturVet products to be manufactured at the new tri-building facility include GrassSaver Biscuits, which, when fed to a dog, will rid a lawn of yellow urine spots; ArthriSoothe GOLD, a joint health supplement for dogs, cats and horses; and At Ease Calming Spray, containing simulated pheromones to enhance a pet’s sense of wellbeing in anxiety-producing situations.
