Thursday, October 4th, 2007. Issue 40, Volume 11. Cement contractor Steve Meck supervises a group of volunteers during the pouring of concrete for the foundation of Dorothy Roth’s new home on September 11. The Roth home was destroyed by the Gavilan Fire in February 2002.
Rainy weather on September 22 slows the framing of walls on the Roth home. Progress has been slow because the house is being constructed by volunteers, but the new home is slowly taking shape on its mountaintop site.
