FALLBROOK — Final plans are underway for Fallbrook Garden Club’s 76th annual standard flower show, "Rainbow of Color," scheduled for April 28 and 29 at the Fallbrook Community Center. The show will be open to the public Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Horticulture entries will be accepted Friday, April 27, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 28, from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Entries brought in after 8:30 a.m. Saturday will be marked "Not for Advertisement

There will be live music by harpist Sam Sanchez and raffle prizes including plants and garden-related items. Raffle prize drawings will be held hourly and presentation of major awards will take place Sunday, April 29, at 3 p.m.

Founded in 1931, the Fallbrook Garden Club is one of the oldest and largest clubs in California. The club’s general meeting is held the last Tuesday of each month at 12:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Community Center. Club co-presidents are BJ Russell and Yolande Jackson.
