                                    <description><![CDATA[Ernest Ernie Ferrini went to be with the Lord June 5, 2013. Ernie was born May 15, 1927 in White Planes, NY, and moved to Santa Monica, Calif. in 1936. Ernie married Dolores Helen Petruschell in May 1952. The couple met while both working for General Telephone Co., in Santa Monica. Ernie also worked for many years for TRW in Redondo Beach, Calif. as a telecommunications analyst. After his retirement in 1986, they moved to Fallbrook.  Ernie loved to restore old cars and was a member of the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club for several years. He also was a driver for the Fallbrook Food Pantry. Ernie was preceded in death by his wife Dolores; his mother and father; and his brother Lewis Ferrini. He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Promack and Mary Fry, and their husbands David Promack and Jack Fry. He is also survived by his four grandchildren Ryan Promack (his wife Lindsay), Jenny Daniels (her husband John), Stephanie Ferazzi (her husband Karl), and Daniel Fry, and by his great-grandsons Caleb Promack, Noah and Isaiah Ferazzi.Ernie was known mostly for his loving, friendly, optimism. He lived every day to the fullest.A celebration of life service will be heldSaturday, June 15, 2013 at 11 a.m.at Christ the King Lutheran Church (1620 S.                                     <description><![CDATA[Charles Ross Dean Jr., 68, went to be with the Lord on May 29 in Tucson, Ariz., surrounded by family. Charlie was born in St. Louis, Mo. to the late Charles Ross Dean Sr. and Erin Douglas Dean on Nov. 14, 1944.  He was a proud graduate of Anaheim High School and San Diego State University. Charlie had a successful career as a restaurateur in his earlier days, but found his true passion in missionary work later in life. Charlie is survived by his daughters Jenny Dean and Ragan Erickson; son-in-law Shaun Erickson; granddaughters Ella and Brooke Erickson; sister Nancy Adalian; brother Bob Dean and was preceded in death by his sister Doris VanAuken.   A celebration of life will be held at SonRise Christian Fellowship at 463 S.                                     <description><![CDATA[Karen L. Curtis passed away on May 24, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Whittemore, Iowa, to Bill and Bernice Heller. She attended the University of Iowa and later moved to California. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bob, and their daughter Carol. She also leaves behind several aunts and many cousins. Karen was a wonderful mother and a fine person who will be missed by all who knew her.Services will be held on Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at the West Bend Cemetery in West Bend, Iowa. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date in Southern California. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Angels Touch Care Center and Elizabeth Hospice.                                     <description><![CDATA[Mary Louise Klusmeier Sweeney went to be with her Lord on May 24, 2013.  She was born in St. Louis, Mo. on June 16, 1920 to Margaret Payne Klusmeier and William Klusmeier Jr. She grew up in South Bend, Ind., graduated from St. Marys Academy, and attended Indiana University. Her parents, her sister Jeanne Frank, and Bob, her beloved husband of 71 years, all preceded her in death.She married Robert M. Sweeney Feb. 14, 1942 in the Log Chapel on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. They moved to California a few years later and lived in Anaheim and Pasadena before moving to Fallbrook in 1994.Her entire married life was devoted to the care of her husband and their home.  Theirs was love story that spanned more than seven decades.Mary Lou loved to travel. Over the years, she and her husband visited England, Ireland, France, Spain, Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Italy multiple times. Malta, Tunisia, and Greece were also visited.  Among her favorite trips were a flight on the Concorde and a cruise on the Queen Elizabeth II. Her most memorable and spiritually rewarding experience was the honor of having an audience with Pope John II.Mary Lou was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Fallbrook. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.A Mass will be said for her on June 19, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church.
