Cory LeClaire of Ft. Lewis, Colorado competes during the Honoring Traditions Powwow held by the Pala Band of Mission Indians on the Pala Indian Reservation Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010. Seven award-winning drum groups provided music for numerous different classes of powwow dancing contests at the event. A total of over $85,000 in prize money was distributed to contest winners.
